My Eee PC netbook (XP Home Edition, SP3) stopped booting from one to the other day. When switching on, the cursor immediately freezes and the computer never boots into Windows. What is striking though is the fact that the manufacturer splash screen with info how to boot into setup (F2) or to access the boot menu (F10) does not even appear
2 Answers. Use the WUBI install to make a bootable LiveUSB with Startup Disk Creator. You will be able to boot off the USB but you might need to consult the manual. There's often a short-cut key (for example on the EeePC) that is the easiest way to get a boot menu to boot off the USB.
Install ADB flash tool on your PC. Connect your Asus Eee Pad Transformer TF101 to the PC via USB cable. Now open the folder where your adb & fastboot package is extracted, press the Shift key on your keyboard and right-click in the folder, and select “Open command prompt here“. A Command Prompt window will be opened.
You could also access the BIOS settings by tapping F2 and changing the boot order so USB would boot first. See if powercycling helps. Remove the battery if possible. Detach the power cord and hold
No Sound on Asus EEE PC 1015P using Realtek High Def Audio. I have a problem with my Realtek High Defintion Audio Device Driver. When I go through the computers troubleshooting it says to try reinstalling to fix the problem. This doesn't work and tells me that there is a problem with the driver (6.0.1.6066).
